Set up transfer

Enter the amount you would like to send and choose your preferred delivery method: bank transfer or cash pickup.

Add recipient's details

Depending on the delivery method, you will need to provide your recipient's details, including their full name, phone number, bank name, and account number where required.

Complete your transfer

Add your card to fund the transfer from your bank. Once complete and the money is on its way to the receiver, you can track the status of your transfer right on Send App.

Sending money to Egypt via cash pickup

Money transfer to Egypt from the UK via cash pickup is processed through supported Fawry Plus outlets. Your recipient can typically pick up the cash on the same day once the transfer is completed.

To use this delivery method, you need to have the following details of your recipient:

Full name
Phone number
Email address, if available
Address, city, and postal code
Reason for transfer i.e family support, payment of service, property payment, school fees, and so on.

Your recipient will also be required to provide the following information at the pick-up location

Full name
Voucher code
Valid means of ID
Purpose of transfer

Your recipient must pick up the cash within 10 days. If the cash is not picked up within this time, a refund will be issued.

You can send a maximum of EGP 150,000 per cash pickup transfer, and a cash withdrawal fee of 1.5 EGP applies.

Cash pickup transfers are typically delivered on the same day.

What is the maximum amount that can be sent?

You can send up to $10,000 per bank transfer, and EGP 150,000 per cash pickup transfer.

Send App supports zero transfer fees for eligible transfers to Egypt. For cash pickup, a cash withdrawal fee of 1.5 EGP applies.
